Brodsky Amy & Gould Welcomes Two New Partners And Announces Firm Name Change

WINNIPEG, MB: Brodsky Amy & Gould announced the addition of two new partners, Zach Kinahan and Carley Mahoney, and a corresponding change to the firm’s name to Brodsky Amy Gould Kinahan Mahoney.

The appointment of Mr. Kinahan and Ms. Mahoney reflects the firm’s continued growth and long-term commitment to strengthening its leadership and expanding the depth of its professional expertise.

In recognition of their new roles and contributions to the firm, the firm will now operate under the name Brodsky Amy Gould Kinahan Mahoney, effective immediately.

Zach Kinahan has been practising law in Manitoba since 2016, and Carley Mahoney has been practising law in Manitoba since 2017. Both lawyers have been at the firm for the entirety of their practice.

The firm will continue to serve its clients with the same focus, values, and commitment to excellence under its new name.

For over 25 years, Brodsky Amy Gould Kinahan Mahoney has served clients in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. The firm was founded by G. Greg Brodsky, Q.C, who litigated more than a thousand homicide cases and impacted how courts consider reasonable doubt. He also brought battered wife syndrome to the Supreme Court of Canada, among other accomplishments, before his passing in 2022. 

The firm offers legal defence services across various areas of practice, including assault and violent offences, driving offences, drug trafficking, drug possession, firearm offences, fraud, murder and manslaughter, organized crime, theft and property offences, and youth offences.
